Patna University (PU) is set for a massive transformation. Under the Pradhan Mantri Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (PM-USHA), a G+7 (eight-story) building will be constructed within the Patna Science College campus. This project aims to turn PU into a “Multi-Disciplinary Education and Research University” (MERU).
The Facilities: The new hub will include a high-tech Incubation and Innovation Center, advanced research labs, and smart classrooms.
Economic Impact: The incubation center is specifically designed to foster a startup culture among students, providing funding opportunities, mentorship, and industry networking.
Status: Tenders for scientific equipment and the building construction have already been initiated. The project is expected to be functional within one year.
