Published
11 months agoon

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the provisional answer key for the UGC NET June 2025 session, conducted from June 25 to 29. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now check their recorded responses and the official answer key on the NTA’s official portal — ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
The NTA has also opened a three-day window for candidates to raise objections against any discrepancies found in the provisional key. The objection submission period started on July 6 and will continue till July 8, 2025, up to 5:00 PM.
How to Raise Objections?
Candidates who find errors in the answer key can challenge specific questions by following these steps:
1. Visit ugcnet.nta.ac.in and click on ‘Challenge(s) regarding Answer Key’.
2. Log in using your Application Number and Date of Birth.
3. Select the question(s) you wish to challenge and upload supporting documents (PDF format only).
4. Pay a non-refundable fee of ₹200 per question via online payment modes.
5. Submit the form and download the acknowledgment receipt for future reference.
It’s important to support each objection with proper academic proof or official sources. Incomplete or unsupported objections are likely to be rejected
What Happens Next?
Once the objection window closes, the NTA will evaluate all challenges through a subject expert committee. If a challenge is accepted, the answer key will be revised accordingly. The final answer key, based on which the UGC NET June 2025 result will be declared, is expected shortly after July 8.
Candidates will not receive individual responses regarding the status of their challenges. The decision made by the expert panel will be final and binding for result calculation.
Stay Updated!
Candidates are advised to regularly check the official website for any announcements regarding the final answer key and result date. For technical issues, help is available via email at ugcnet@nta.ac.in or helpline number 011-40759000.
