AKTU Announces Recruitment for 236 Faculty Posts in Government Engineering Colleges – Apply by July 21

Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Uttar Pradesh, has released a recruitment notification for 236 faculty positions in four affiliated Government Engineering Colleges (RECs) located in Gonda, Basti, Pratapgarh, and Mirzapur. The vacancies include posts for Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor, and applications can be submitted online till July 21, 2025.

The recruitment will be conducted as per AICTE norms, and appointments will be made across key departments including Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Humanities & Social Sciences. Eligible candidates must submit the online application through AKTU’s official portal https://aktu.ac.in Additionally, the hard copy of the application form along with supporting documents must be submitted by July 26, 2025.

Each REC will have:

• 6 Professors
• 13 Associate Professors
• 40 Assistant Professors

Total positions: 236 faculty posts across the four campuses
