The ICDS Directorate of Bihar celebrated the successful conclusion of Poshan Pakhwada-2026 today at Gyan Bhawan, Patna. The state-level workshop served as a platform to announce that Bihar has secured the first position in the country for its nutritional initiatives, maintaining the momentum from its previous top ranking during Poshan Maah-2025.
Honorable Deputy Chief Minister (Social Welfare), Bihar, attended as the Chief Guest, joined by the Secretary of the Social Welfare Department and senior ICDS officials. The event highlighted a massive community effort, with over 7.1 million (71 lakh) activities conducted across districts, blocks, and villages to turn nutrition into a “Jan Andolan” (people’s movement).
