CSIR UGC NET June 2025: Exam Rescheduled, Now to Be Held on July 28 Only

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has revised the exam dates for the CSIR UGC NET June 2025 session. Earlier scheduled across three days—July 26, 27, and 28—the exam will now be held on a single day, July 28, 2025. This change was made to avoid a scheduling conflict with the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET). The updated schedule has been announced through an official notification on csirnet.nta.ac.in.
Subjects Covered in the Exam:
According to the notification, the exam will be conducted for the following subjects:
- Mathematical Sciences
- Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences
- Chemical Sciences
- Life Sciences
- Physical Scienc
Exam Timings and Shifts:
The CSIR NET 2025 will be held in two shifts on July 28:
- First Shift: 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon
- Second Shift: 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM
City Intimation Slip and Admit Card:
The exam city slip will be released 8–10 days before the exam, helping candidates identify their exam location in advance for travel planning.
The admit card will be available for download 4 days before the exam date.
Important Instructions for Candidates:
The city intimation slip is not an admit card and cannot be used for entry into the exam hall.
On the exam day, candidates must carry their admit card along with a valid photo ID proof such as Aadhaar card, PAN card, Voter ID, Passport, or Driving License.
Entry to the exam hall will be denied without these documents.
Candidates are advised to regularly check the official website http://csirnet.nta.ac.in for updates and further instructions related to the exam.
